How do I stop getting erections around her?

A male United States age 18-21, anonymous writes:

My second cousin (a female) and I spend a lot of time together. We are both 13 years old and we share a lot of hobbies. We are both cousins and friends.

The problem is that I keep on getting erections around her. I will admit she is extremely cute but I know there can't be anything between us.

How do I stop getting erections around her? If she ever questions why I keep on getting erections around her, what should I say? She noticed my erection at least once (she looks in that area, laughed and turned around).

I just do not want to lose our friendship because I keep on getting erections around her.

First of fall don't ever let her know about the erections! You shouldn't do that openly in-front of girls! Always think of your cousin as your family. You're going through puberty, and it doesn't take much of anything to make it happen; don't be ashamed, just be careful not to show.

If you know your cousin is coming over; clear your mind to think about the fun things you will talk about. Pick long shirts, don't wear boxer shorts, wear your briefs. As long as you're wearing clothing that covers you up down there; she shouldn't know such a thing is happening.

If she doesn't know about it, there's nothing to worry about. It's being crude to let that happen in-front of any girl right now; so keep mindful of that, and it will probably solve itself. Keep a proper distance from her. She's your family and there shouldn't be too much hugging, or touching in ways that might be romantic. No rubbing against each other.

Last but not least, don't hangout with her so much. She's a girl; and should be spending most of her time with other girls. You should be hanging with your buds and allow yourself a little more time to gain a little mind-control over what happens in your pants.

I have the same question as you!

From stop getting erections from your cousin is to stop hanging out with her...know don’t actually stop...just take things nice and slow...breathing is the best part! Just breathe and try not to do eye contact with her so much, also try not to think about her over beauty think of something else, like video games!

Just stop thinking about her and think about your future...you want to go to college right then what are you gonna do!

Think of something really busy that make your mind explode so that you don’t think about your cousin as much and start paying more attention at other things.

Good luck buddy???? My hopes go all to you!

Andie's Thoughts agony auntOP, guys get erections for lots of reasons. Wake Up. Math Class. Swimming. Shower. Sunbathing. Library. Cinema. Waiting Room.

Whether your cousin is cute or not, that doesn't mean you're erection is because of that. Find trousers that keep you down, but aren't too tight and sit with a cushion on your lap. She laughs now because you're still children, but it's a normal body function that happens any time, any place, whether you want it to or not.
