Being a control freak makes the other person feel weak and terrible, even if they don't voice it to you. And the thing about being a control freak is we know that we're doing it, right? Its not like were completely innocent and have no clue that its wrong. Maybe if when you know your going to say something or have already said something that you know you shouldn't have, you could tell yourself that it makes you a complete witch! Tell yourself that its making you a bad person and apologize! None of us wants to be a bad person! Who knows... Maybe if you continually remedy yourself over and over, it might get easier to just stop doing it altogether. That's just my thought on a way to try.
