I was a in boarding school with 200 girls and most used to complain on the hair growing on the thighs and some even the butt crack!! But a professional waxer is used to this and has seen it all so don't worry!

Sadly the only thing that reduces hair growth are extreme chemicals that are made to damage the hair shaft (hand your skin). It cannot greatly slow it down without you hurting more of your body. electrolysis will target the hair shaft specifically and actually kill it.

I use the eyebrow shapers to clean up my bikini line. Your body's hair growth speed can't really be changed. the shapers will get a close shave without the razorburn, and ingrown hairs (i do it dry and in the direction of growth). There are a lot of products if you really want to try the chemicals but you might have to do some googling to find the ones that really work...which is not many. I don't think you will get any that hold it off for a week.

Since you are 22 I really recommend waxing. A good wax at the salon can last 3 weeks and over time it grows back less and less. For me it was painful the first few times but with time its now just routine. Yours would be pretty simple if you are just getting a bikini wax. The Brazilian (landing strip) and the Hollywood (all off) take some getting used to. Don't forget to tip well!! I don't know of any other effective method. I've heard of laser hair removal which is permanent but expensive.
