This past summer I've been clean and I distanced myself from my "bad" friends. I just need guidance in how to become close with the people I've been freinds with since k-9th grade again. Please help. It's understandable to want them back, but you have to understand how they feel. They are hurt. You chose others over them. You risked your life and never even considered their feelings. These are the things you have to take into consideration. IF they really are your friends all it will really take is for you to gradually get back into their lives. You may have to talk to your closest friend and convince he/she you are sorry. You have to talk about why you did it and why you never asked for there help. Don't just try to jump back into their lives in a second. You have to gradually ease back in and prove you've changed. If they really are your friends they will give you a chance. This experience will show you the real people who love and care for you. Your friends are important. SO I give you all of my best wishes and hope my advice will help! :)
