I love my job and I love the city, but I don't have any friends or a boyfriend here and I'm lonely.I'm a shy introvert, so it's always been hard for me to make friends. I've tried to go out and do things like yoga, I joined a gym, I go to restaurants and stores, but I still haven't made any friends. I have some acquaintances, and I've met some people I probably could have been friends with if I'd seen them more than once but I don't. It seems like everyone at the events I've been to already has a group of friends that they stick with. I also feel awkward going to things by myself. To make it even harder, I'm "college age" but I'm not in school, instead I have a job that takes up most of my time. Everyone my age is in college, going to parties, etc. My old friends were all people I met in school. I don't know how to make friends outside of that. Everyone I meet is much older than I am. I also really wish I had a boyfriend. But I can't even make a friend, let alone find a boyfriend. Help, how do I meet people?
