Ever since the I didnt focus at all on getting new friends and I even avoided people.I find myself now at 23 sitting here with no friends. seriously. Everyone has at least one person that they call and talk too. I dont, I feel uncomfortable around women nowI focus on my family, like my sisters, neice etc. but I kinda miss having a girl to chat with, thats not related to me lol. I find girls dismiss me and dont seem to interested in talking/ being friends etc.How do I get friends like I had before? Reply to this Question Share |

First, let's hope that by 'burned' you don't mean literally.
You've got to open yourself up to taking the risk of being vulnerable again, and find a place where you can meet people who you have something in common with. Join a club, something social, volunteer at a museum... or something where people your age might be (OK, the museum may not have a lot of 22 year olds there... but my wife did do that in her 20's...
Get out and meet people, get a hobby, start doing something so that you can meet people. It's scary at first, but worth it once you're in the grove!
