I had the same problem when I was at school. I moved school in my second year of highschool, but I found that moving was the best thing I ever did. I made such good friends, ones that are still close to me now, even after I moved country.Just be yourself! If its town or state you are moving from, I tend to find that because you are the "foreigner", people want to know more about you and want to get to know you!I found that because I was from a town outside the city and they were mostly from the city, they wanted to know where I lived, what I did for fun and what things there were to do in my town. Where I lived there were some nice walks and my friends used to come over on the weekends and go for walks with me etc. I was into ice-hockey so joined the towns ice-hockey team and made even more friends. The best thing to do to meet new people is be yourself and join in sports etc.

Hi,It is difficult to change schools now and leave your old friends behind. You can start by smiling at the mates in your class. you should also try and be the first to confront the learners. Don't be afraid there are probably friendly people there.
Good Luck, mail me if you wanna talk

I think you should just be yourself :] and try and be as friendly and open as possible. Someone is bound to talk to you if you don't talk to them first, then just be yourself and share things with them and get to know them.Hope this helps x

Keep your head up, and always be cheerful.Take the initiative sometimes, if you see someone on their own, ask them an opener, such as what their interests are, or what class they enjoy the best.Another great way to make friends is to join a club, after all, all the members will have a similar interest so it gives you some familiar ground to walk on.Most of the time friends will make you anyway. I'm terrible at meeting new people, but i've never had a problem in making friends
