A female , anonymous writes:

Hi everyone, to cut it short my boyfriend and I have split up. We have decided to go out tonight to see how it goes, pretty much make or break. I want to make it work and get him back, he feels the same but isn't sure whether it's right and whether it will work. Any advice or ideas as to how i can show him we can work our problems out? Its not like we've cheated on each other! Please help asap!

Aunt Charlene agony aunthello,

it depends why you split up in the first place, if you had never cheated on each other, the problem is internal meaning change, is it you who needs to change or him? and lastly why do you want to get back together? were you in love and the bond is still there? or are you trying to keep it together for friends/family/children sake?

it seems that your boyfriend has insecurities, id suggest talking them out with him, communication is extremely important in the relationship.
