reader, anonymous, writes (13 June 2009): No there is nothing wrong with you, it takes time to let go of someone you love that has hurt you and forgiveness is the first step to repairing the damage he has done to you. Forgiving him will help you to move on and will help to prevent feelings of bitterness. It helps if you cut off contact with him, it's very hard to get over someone when you still see them regularly.
You can consider getting married at any age that feels right for you. There is no set age that you "should" be to get married, you are an adult now and capable of making that choice.
