How do I learn to relax around him?

So im trying one last time to save my family ny cool child's dad is single and so am I... but ive.been.putting my foot in my mouth often sending king emotional text, calling but losing my words which make awkward silence.. I've been annoying him... just a pathetic nervous reck... he tells me just be laid back.and cool our friendship will happen.and open doors for more... but I can't.stop chasing him which is not my normal thing... I need help how do I.relax be cool and let him eventually come to me.... I just can't seem to stop smh...
