Lose interest, I don't think so mate .. =D
Look, Lets take my relationship as an example, Me & My girlfriend have been together for nearly a year now, We haven't had sex, We don't need it, Not yet anyway, And I think we're both clever enough to know if she accidentally gets pregnant, Education wise, She isn't going to do as well as she should.
I wouldn't worry, Relationships aren't always about sex for some people ..

Ah! To be 17 again!
But seriously, at 17, you are just getting started learning about yourself and about having a relationship. But you might just ask yourself this question:
What do I like to do with this girl/woman when we're not having sex?
If you can't think of anything you like to do with her (either, based on your interests, or on hers) when you're together, then I would say that you're with her just for the sex!
Good luck figuring this one out! Just be HONEST with yourself and you'll figure it out!
