Ok well only you can tell if you rushed in to it or not, did it feel right? If you never felt upset or anything afterwards then it sounds like you are ready so dont be worrying about it, you ask what happens now? Well if you want to have sex then have sex just make sure you always use protection and if you dont want to do it again just yet then just wait until you do want to.
