writes:I need to talk to my boyfriend about our relationship as I have recently been thinking about ending it. Things haven't been the same and I don't feel the same anymore. I care about him but I don't know whether the love is still there? We don't see eachother as much due to him working away and when I do see him we don't spend time together like we used to. I don't know what to say to him. How do I know I don't love him anymore? What is love? I need to sort my head out and would like some help as to how to deal with this situation? reader, anonymous, writes (15 April 2016): If the image of him being happy and smiling at you doesn't make you feel happy inside, then you're most likely not in love anymore. You may love him as a person, but not feel attracted to him the way you did before.

 "things haven't been the same and i don't feel the same anymore. i care about him but i don't know if the love is still there?" feelings come and go, that is an emotion. so i take it you did love him? right. time apart does not help. how about opening up to him and let him know how you are feeling, and that the two of you need TIME together. "how do i know i don't love him anymore?" did you love him? is there anyone else in the world you would want to spend your life with but him? doe's he invade your thoughts? do you remember of how he has made you feel in the past, do you want to loose him? you two need to open up your heart feelings toward each other, and tell each other your needs, and what you are missing. "what is love?" love is not selfish or taking. it is giving, and not expecting anything in return. it is caring for the other person even when they are cold toward you. it is commitment toward the other person, and each other. it is the one you can't live without. it is being there for the other person, and each other.
