 The trick is making a nice medium. You don't want to overwhelm her lips with yours and be all sloppy about it. You also don't want to clamp your worth shut! Just be nice and slow about it and follow each other's leads. I don't know if you're French kissing her or anything, but if you are - too much tounge is never good. Ever! Just make sure you regulate... never stick your whole tounge into a girls mouth. Maybe just halfway is good....
It's hard to WRITE about good kissing techniques. Really, though, kissing isn't about how you do it. It's about who you do it with and the experience. I'm sure that your girlfriend is happy to be kissing you, just because it's you! Eventually you'll get used to each other's styles of smoochin'.
