Aw, I remember when I went through that at your age. There was this guy Will that I had a huge crush on and my friends did, too. But they embarrassed me really bad one day and told him I liked him at the lunch table where we all sat. I was mortified. And I couldn't say they liked him, too, because that would have made everyone laugh more.
Turns out he liked me, too, and we starting sitting together and talked a lot more. My friends got jealous, but hey, it was their own fault he found out! He thought I didn't like him so he never said anything to me, but after he found out, he felt more comfortable letting me know, too.
And I definitely wasn't the prettiest or skinniest girl around. He still liked me because we had stuff in common and he thought I was pretty, and he didn't like the skinny popular girls because the were obnoxious and mean to other people.
Who knows, maybe this boy likes you, too. Maybe it's better to just get it all out in the open and let him know. That's what happened to me and everything worked out great. But I wouldn't do it around other people; I was so embarrassed after my friend's little outburst I didn't show my face around them for a week.

Tell him. But just to let you know, boys around this age are weeeeiiiirrrrdddddd....sometimes if you tell them that you like them they get all standoffish and stuff and stop talking to you. Just a thought. It's up to you whether you want to risk this or not.
