How do I give him the go ahead without straight up telling him?

Question - (14 April 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 15 April 2009)
A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am 18, turning 19 in a few months, and I really want to lose my virginity.

My bf and I have been dating for almost two years but we've kept it pretty innocent; we're both virgins. The funny thing is, all my friends think we're sexually active, whereas all his friends think we're not. We've had the opportunity in the past, and I would get all ready for him, making sure I look good, but when I could sense it starting to get to that point where it's now or never, I would suddenly get extremely self-conscious and I bailed.

Since then, he's been very respectful towards me and hasn't tried anything at all, which I know I should be (and am) very grateful for. But now I WANT him to try something, so how do I give him the go ahead without straight up telling him?

absolutely understandable. try watching a romantic movie or something of that nature w/ him in order to 'get in the groove' you know, get your juices flowing so to speak. just allow things to run its course ya know. hopefully he'll comply I guess. good luck!
