A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have my first boyfriend! I graduated early, but when I went to school there was this guy on the varsity football team and he was a senior.I never knew who he was,but He came to one of my friends' parties last week and said he knew me from school and how he liked me. Which shocked me because I've never fit into the popular catergory....AT ALL... But apparently he really likes me,he has taken me on dates and met my parents. And now we are dating.I am just hesitant because I still dont know why he likes me sooo much,i was thinking its because I am a virgin? Im not trying to sound rude about the whole thing, but this is my first relationship and this all just feels so new and weird.I really have no idea how to be a girlfriend. How do I keep this amazing guy while getting rid of these stupid thoughts and insecurities?

I have been in your shoes once. I let her go and years later after seeing her realized my mistake. It's hard to not let those things bother you but sooner or later you wil have to let these go whether it's in this relationship or another. I hope this helps you. Best of luck.
