Have you ever heard of a product called Bio Oil??? You can buy it in the UK and is supposed to be very good for reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
All you do is massage it into the areas where your stretch marks are using a circular motion. This increases the blood flow to the area. Do this every day for maybe 3 months (i know, it takes time and effort) and hopefully you should be able to see some improvement.
Also when you are using your shower gel in the shower, massage the area again to increase blood flow. I've never used the stuff, and i have a few stretch marks, i may get some myself actually! You can probably buy it from your local Boots store, not sure on a price though.
Give it a go and see how they look. Good luck :)

Well your still a teenager and you are still growing, and a rapid growth spurt or weight gain is not always the only reason for stretch marks. Believe it or not your doctor was right you are at the age where it is perfectly normal for stretch marks. Yet you are also at an age where appearance is everything i understand that. But you need to accept that all women (yes all) get stretch marks at some point in there life, i know you feel embarressed but you shouldnt be as most other girls have them as well. When you say people stare my guess is that you are feeling self conciouss and paranoid about them, this is normal i know but hunny look at it this way this is a natural thing on your body. Image shouldnt be everything. look at some people in this world who have been left disfigured from injuries or burns or even born with an abnormality so try and look at it like you have gotten away lightly.
Ok after saying all that i do understand how you feel about them though. you mention you have tried cocoa butter, well maybe you should try aloe vera gel and keep you skin well moisturised 24 hours a day as it helps the skin keep its elasticity if it is moist. Your strech marks will fade in time believe me but the key is just to keep yor skin moist so use aloe vera gel and moisturiser and also keep using your cocoa butter.
