This is embarrassing and totally ridiculous. I'm 34 years old and have a stupid immature schoolgirl type crush on somebody I only get to see at most once a month at best. Even then I'm married...and so is he! There are so many other dynamics that play into this that make it totally ridiculous... but I can't seem to shake it!! And it's making me feel completely idiotic yet all sad puppy like a junior high kid gone ga-ga over some high-schooler, you know. I don't like this feeling... how do I "get over it"??

Help!

I know how you feel, but sometimes the reason for this kind of feeling is that you are a little bored, and certainly having a crush gives that rush of adrenaline and spark of life that may have been missing. Its ok to feel that, it doesn't make you a bad person if you don't act on it. You can still love your husband and have a crush on someone. Try looking at your life and where you haven't been following your dreams. Are you happy with your career, house etc? Maybe make some changes which make you feel more alive and excited by life and gradually your feelings for him will fade...trust me :)

In a way you could have point there... because I did go out and get a new hair cut.. color, etc...lol...even makeup....even sewed a darned blouse to wear next time I saw him...hhaha! Isn't that crazy?? I'd prefer not to have these feelings, because they can't go anywhere and they drive me crazy... like wanting a steak but only having burgers around...you know. OH well... at least I look good. haha! Thanks!

WOW, maybe you can just have a crush and not do anything about it. Respect your self and his wife and just use the silly crush to feel better about yourself. Sometimes when we women get crushes we do good things for ourselves. For example, we eat better, work out more and wear nicer clothes. Just do not cross the line...that way all the things you did to feel better will really be benrficial for you. My two cents...I wish I had a crush!!
