writes:How do you get over a boy that has been there so long in your life? well....seems like a long time how do you get over him.He is a player.He said that he loved me.He said all that stuff that i wanted to hear.I did somthing really stupied and i went over to my friends house who is her brother and i spent the night in his room i did not have sex but,he wanted to but i did not want to and he was the frist guy i have ever done anything with. Now that i am out of that school i am goin to miss him more i just wanna know how do you let a guy like that you thought was your world? turned out to be a jerk!

reader, anonymous, writes (29 June 2007): He is a player, he lied, he deceived you. Your words. I'm sure when you met him and when you started to love him you didn't imagine he was all these. The conclusion is that you fell in love with an illusion. Now it should sound easier to forget about him? Just one question, what did he do to disappoint you? It wasn't too late before you knew you had to distance after all. I presume after that night he became more neglectful? Sometimes the changes of attitude int he others confuse and hurt us, it's true. Feel glad that you didn't fell in the trap and things didn't advance too much, it would have been regretful now to think you wasted certain special moments with him. Just remember it's a lesson for the future and if you're inclined to believe and confide too readily don't hurry next time. Young as you are, time is by your side. There'll be other opportunities and you'll soon have forgotten about this episode. Spend more time with your friends and be strong.
