As long as you have not done anything wrong, you have the right to see your children. Contact a lawyer or the police and explain to them that your children have been taken away without your permition and that you believe that it is in their best interests that they live with you. Their mother. I wish you all the best dear and hope that you get to see them soon x

If you want your children back, fight for them. If you are a fit mother, there is no reason why they should not be living with you. Your mother in law is wrong to be spreading anything negative about you to the children, and you need to tell her that as well (through a lawyer if needs be).
Having said that, your childrens security, safety and feelings need to be taken into consideration. If they are genuinely scared of you, it will not just be a case of getting them back, you will need to earn back their trust before they can come to live with you, an you need to do that by having regular visitation, talking to them, listening to them and what they want, and not pushing them.

They are your children, and unless you are an unfit mother then there is no reason or law that can stop you seeing your children. They are YOUR children so go and get them and tell them they are coming home with you. YOU are there mother and you need to fight for them nobody else will. Be strict go to your mother in laws house and YOU tell her that you are taking your children and she cannot stop you, she has no rights.
