In writing to him, you can tell him how you can see where you made mistakes, and that you want to have another chance with him. It is then up to him to get in contact with you, it he wants to try again. Good luck.

You can never force anyone to made decisions like that but your best options are to just back off and leave him be for a bit. Dont contact him first only reply to his texts/ answer his calls. Be short and polite. Come across as confident and happy. And show him you are capable of being independent without him. Worked for me. My bf and i have never been better. Sometimes a little time and space is needed for all.
