If so, then that is already a good start. I think you should just let things progress naturally. Make an effort to talk to her when you see her in class. I don't know what you talked to her about, but after a while, try to find out a bit more about her.
But it's difficult to say at this stage, if you have only just met her. I can understand you wanting to get closer to her, but these things can't really be rushed. Any kind of friendship/relationship takes time to develop. But like I said, if you have already spoken, then that is a great start, as the ice will have already been broken. So just carry on talking to her in class, and see what happens. Take it from there. x
