I really like this guy, and love talking to him, but I find we almost never talk like a couple--we keep the romantic aspect of things very limited.I know he likes me, and I have tried flirting with him a bit but it always seems to change back to normal conversation too quickly, since he plays along only a little, and then moves on to the next topic. He's shy and quiet like me. How do I go about this?I try to compliment him like "I like your hair" but he just says "thank you"

the problem with long distance is that its all talkbecause you dont get to see each other and maybe that making it a bit hard for him to show you his feelings a littlebecause its hard when you love someone and you dont get to see them all the time or as much as you would likeas you have by the sounds of it swapped photosmaybe you could arrange a tella-phone call (like call each other for 10 mins each so you send the same amount of credit)or if you both have computes a webcam chat?or have date using online gaming? or you could send him a date in a box -a box and in side some music or a film maybe sweets as if you where going on a date with him
