writes:over the last few months this girl has been acting in a way that makes me think that she likes me. always talking to me and looking at me as well as ruffling my hair when i'm around my friends only mine and at a party on saturday I kept looking over at her and when she looked at me I smiled at her back as did she but she did it differently than other people have as she held eye contact for a while and held her smile as well we had a few photos together and one of us she says its her favourite and shes printing it out and putting it on her wall and her phone. and the others when it was just us she leant her head against mine as well as being very close to me in group ones, we also hugged a lot as well. also when her friend and I were talking about her, her friend said that when she looks at this girl i like she sees me in her eyes. however she has been talking to this guy and i think things are going ok but im not sure what to do I spoke to my friend whose known her all his life and he said that I should see whats going on between her and this guy like just ask her how things are going? etc. How do i strike this up in our conversations? because from everything, I feel like she likes me but idk how she feels for this other guy and i don't want to tell her that I have feelings for her and risk anything she could have with this guy I don't want to ruin anything for them both which is why i wasn't going to say anything until i know what she wants with this guy or me maybe Reply to this Question

If you had been a little less passive before you wouldn't be on this situation. So, maybe you need to stop being passive and ask her out? She might like this guy but that shouldn't matter to you (unless he's your friend) as people can like more than one person at a time.
