It is my way of hinting and giving the 'come on'. If he doesn't want me, then i am still trusting of him not to make a fool of me and I am glad I have expressed my feelings toward him. At the end of the day, the person you have a crush on obviously likes you and you have to start somewhere so why not just admit how you feel and be prepared to take no for an answer. Even if she says no, she will be pleased you care about her and any person worth their salt would respect you for that or she would not be worth it in the first place.

If you had a crush on someone, you would certainly not go around telling them you love them, right? If she tells you she loves you, she probably means just as a friend. I can tell you this from personal experience, if your best friend tells you you're perfect and amazing in every way, she probably means you're perfect for someone else. The only reason she can say such things to you without feeling awkward and weird is because she definitely has you in her "friend zone." My suggestion: Don't get your hopes high; it'll hurt you in the long run. If you do like her, put it out there, discuss it, and find out what she thinks. If you guys are in fact best friends it won't hurt your friendship but rather it'll clear your mind and you'll be able to focus on her as just a friend.

Ask one of your mates to drop a few hints or ask her "out of the blue".
