hi all, i need serious advice and opinions on my situation. 3 weeks ago i got into a relationship with a wonderful girl. at first it seemed everything was going so fast. we get on very well and it seems like its all too good to be true but there are a few probs. firstly she is older than i am. this doesnt affect how we feel and i have dated other girls who were older than myself due to the fact that i am very mature for ym age and thats the type i normally attract. one of the probs is that i want to break up with this girl cos i feel that we dont belong together. she has done nothing at all wrong but i dont see this long term. when i date girls that are older i dont get too serious cos we both know that it cant end up in marriage due to that fact. age dont bother me at all but families have a whole load of probs with it and i dont think dis regarding ones family for a girl is a good idea. well it is if you madly in love with the girl but im not. i know i may sound cold but i dont want to break her heart. she is totally in love with me, and i feel so so bad to break her heart. i havent done it yet because i am afraid to. she has told me that a few years ago she was in a relationship and the guy broke up with her and she tried taking her life. for this very reason i am scared to break up with her. i dont want her to hurt herself, i dont want her to hate me. i would love to be her friend after but how do i go about doing this? please help. i dont want to break her heart, i dont want her to take her life. i want to end it now before it gets too complicated. please help me

You can't be responsible for her actions, no matter what she says or does. There is no way to do this without brekaing her heart, so you have to be clear, short and calm. Get it over and done with in a public place, and don't go back on it or mess her around. What she does after is not your fault.
