We didn't take it hard, but then I got with the guy I liked, not even a week later that guy broke up with me, and said "im not ready", but he was the one who begged for me to be apart of his life. I need help, I text him, and ask him why he did this, and he just says he doesn't know. I'm not ready to let go yet. He acts like he doesn't even care.

well, take it from me, usually with young guys, im assuming he is, when they make a split desicion such as this, its usually has something to do with NOT you,
as in saying, he got interested in someone else, or he just wanted to see if he could take you from your ex, maybe him and your ex had a confrontation,
we'v all herd the phrase "what goes around comes around",
and im sorry hun' but it sounds like its "come around".
but in a nutshell, if he really wants you then he will let you know, usually by the time you start getting interested in another guy, wich he might pull the same stunt,
its a conundrum - he doesnt want you, but doesnt want anyone else to have you either, sorry to be so blunt, but if someone cant give it straight then you wont get the answer you need, instead of the answer you want, hope i helped.
