A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

A few days ago I texted my friend and told him something personal that happened to me. Thinking I would get support from him. Nothing, it seems like he never cares about me, or treats me like a friend so I texted him that I would never speak to him again. I won't see him for two weeks anyway. Plus I don't like him anymore and have just gotten over him. I don't care if he doesn't text me or miss me. I use to care a lot. I've tryed getting over him but it didn't work until this time. i feel better and confident. The only thing that makes me mad is when my best friend G and her grandmother always call him my boyfriend. G is his cousin and his grandmother and me are friends. I hate it when they try and get me with him. I think thats what made it hard for me to forget him. For one thing he never liked me and even if he did he ignores me way too much for me to ever be with him. I wouldn't be happy with him because I want someone who cares about me and never takes me for granted. How should I deal with this situation?

Tell G and her grandmother that you took their advise but based on his behavior they have really bad taste in men.
