A female United States age 30-35, *iltarygirlfriend writes:

My boyfriend is in the Military and right now he is in Afghanistan and he comes home for leave in June. I have no idea what to expect and I have no idea how to act. I do not know what to do!!!! He is also talking about marriage more then normal and I have no idea what to think! I am worried he is only talking like this because he does not want to be alone after he comes back because he is confused or scared. Someone help!

A female reader, anonymous, writes (11 May 2010):

woahhh! reading wayyy too much into this.

number 1) he's your boyfriend & he will just appreciate the time you have together

2) you've obviously done well to stay together & so all you need to do is be yourself & show him that you've missed him.

3) he's probably talked about marriage in more detail because he's realised he doesn't want to loose you & appreciates you (because he's away from you)

4) don't think it's because he's not going to have anyone, have more faith in yourself!

i hope all works out well for you, remember to be yourself!!
