Depression is a serious affliction! Continue with therapy. Be totally honest with your therapist. Ask about medications, explore your options. But be very careful if you do decide to try meds. It could be dangerous in teenagers. You will have to stay in constant contact with your therapist. And alert him/her if your depression worsens! Depression won't go away by itself. You need to get to the bottom of it. Find out what is causing your depression...and that can take time...be patient with therapy...it's a process, not an event!

I have answered several questions on depressions this morning...read through this site, there have been some excellent suggestions! Check it Out! Good Luck!

MissUnique agony auntI had depression when I was younger. So when I really felt down, I would choose the brightest, cheeriest outfit in my wardrobe, force myself to look on the bright side and be ready to face anything. It always worked. I talked to my friends when I was feeling low, cos true friends are there to pick you up when you fall down, in some cases, laugh and point but whats the point in being young if you aren't silly sometimes. Try to think positive things about everything. And really open up in your therapy sessions. I hope you overcome this sweetie :) Good Luck!!!

RON_499 agony auntYou need to first try 2 get good friends. If you don't have any or if they aren't good enough just make some on this site. It isn't good 2 stay like this. I also suffered from depression at around your age but I told myself that it was no use worrying about things or anything like that just try to stay happy watch some funny shows, go to some quiet place with lots of trees and just lie there for some time. Try it, it will feel good but it won't work if you keep worrying about stuff while you do it. Have fun, enjoy like (that doesn't mean that you should get wasted okay). Believe in yourself and try your best, you will get through this believe me okay? Now smile okay!!!:]
