How do I come about asking him to be in a long distance relationship?

A female United States age 36-40, *luejay10 writes:

i met this guy in april. we had a strong connection but did nothing to act on it. we remained friends and kept in contact. last month, i was at an official event in his hometown which he knew about. we decided to visit. we went out the first night, ended up at a beach and then, i ended up spending the night at his place. things kind of moved along between conversation and touchy-feelies. we ended up sleeping together. it didn't feel like casual sex because the emotional connection between us has been so strong. the night before i left, i spent at his place, too. we never got round to discussing what we had embarked on and the emotions are lingering. not sure how i should approach him about any of this. he's a gem of a dude and i would not mind getting into a long distance deal with him, if anything. help?

petina1 agony auntSimply remind him of the night/day before and let him know how much you enjoyed it. That could be a starting point for you to springboard off. Sounds like the beginning of a romance, good luck.
