He's such a sweet guy and I know he cares about me so much, and offered to drive back and forth at least once a month, but I think it's a bad idea. I'll be a senior in high school, and I have college applications to work on, and he'll be busy meeting new people, and as much as it hurts, I think it's the best thing to move on. I just don't know how to tell him without breaking his heart. He means a lot to me and I truly care about him and how he feels.

it's clear that you're not into this guy...if you loved him you would take a chance and make it work. Since you're not willing to try (like he is), you've got no other option but to be honest and tell him that you don't see a future with him. he'll be hurt but he'll move on.

Unfortunately there is no way to tell him without hurting his feelings. Just yesturday I told a girl I liked her. I didn't expect to feel too sad because I already knew that she wasn't interested in me, and I've known for while. Unfortunately I've been feeling really depressed despite getting the reaction that i expected.
Good luck though.
