writes:I split from my ex around 8 months ago and since i havent been myself, i know i need to start spending more time with my friends again and be more sociable. Any ideas on what we can start doing? i have the usual, cinema, meals, amusment parks but most things cost money and the weather is mostly miserable up north. Also, my confidence has been knocked loads and i'm not as sociable as i used to be, any advice on how to become more sociable and start topics off? Thankyou to whoever reads this and helps me out

 If money is the problem then why not organise a gathering at your house. Explain to your friends that you are sorry you have not been very sociable but you where in a bad place after the break up. Maybe organise a night where you could all watch films at your house and maybe have a few drinks and nibbles. Any nice days you do have then suggest maybe meeting up and going to the beach for a walk and a catch up.
