 I love Annalise's idea...But send the bouquet of flowers ahead of time so that way you can have a definite "yes" for V-day. Then when you go to pick her up for your date, have a nice box of chocolates waiting for her when she gets in your car.

 Girls like a confident guy, so go and approach her and ask if she would like to go on a date with you for valentines day. be assertive and give suggestions of a nice restaurant/bar you could go to. if she says yes, turn up with a rose and make sure you pay for her! she will love it! good luck!
