reader, anonymous, writes (12 December 2011): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionthanks for both of ur answers! i gave u both five stars and i talked to her today and it went pretty good. had a few laffs and she just kept talkin for a bout 10 minutes so i guess she was interested in the convo. only thing is i gave her my number instead of getting hers (oops) but i did tell her i was interested in hanging out and for her to text me sometime. thank u both

 Quick answer... Just Do It. In other words just take a chance. Don't allow fear or doubt creep into your mind. And if she's not interested, at least you can say, "hey, I've tried". As opposed to later wondering "What if..." Simple, just ask her! Tell her you've seen her around and would like to get to know her. Or you could say that and give her yours. Confidence is attractive but there is a fine line between confidence and cockiness!
