writes: all of my relationships have come from being around someone for a while before asking them out. such as school, work, gym. how do you go about asking a girl out that may not know you that well?there is a girl who i see maybe every other week at the grocery store, shes a cashier there and shes always in a good attitude and very pretty. i go through her line often and always ask how shes doing and have small talk through the few minutes it takes to cash me out. i have no idea if shes into me or even has a boyfriend, how do i approach getting her number or asking her out for coffee/dinner?

Make sure you get her number and she gets yours, that way you both have it. Because what if you gave her your number and she took it to be nice and ended up throwing it away? If she says no, maybe she isn't interested
