They know each other. They both had opportunities to talk to each other but neither even acknowledged the other even though they both knew the other was there. And one of them walked by the other one without saying a word. Why do guys act this way when they like the same woman? In this case, the husband and the boyfriend ran into each other (both know) and ignore each other. Why? Reply to this Question Share |

Well, look at the animal kingdom, especially lions. When a male lion comes into a dominent males terriotity and trys to start seduceing all the other lionesses what does the dominent male do? He fights, and the strongest lion will then win the lionesses. So i guess it makes sense in saying it could be down to nature. After all these two men are basically rivals fighting for the same thing, and i have found after i had mostly boys as my bestfreinds through out my whole life, that even if two mates do act civil with each other they do have a secret desire for the other one to give up so they can go ahead and take the women for themselves."even the proudest souls can be broken, with love".

They're not going to be civil to each other when they're both fighting for the affections of the same woman.
It would be incredibly awkward for them to stop and have a chat when there's a serious issue between them both.
