reader, anonymous, writes (11 August 2009): As a young female (27 years old) I don't like the type of cocky guy, my experience with shy has been very good, i actually prefer shy guys, my boyfriend is someone extremelly shy, introverted, but at the same time he is very sweet, the only one problem for shy guys is that for them it takes a long time for them to talk about their feelings. I didn't have any problem with that with my boyfriend, so I waited and gave him his space, and now ( after almost 2 years in the relationship I am in the best relationship I have ever have). We love and respect each other very much, and we are planing to be married.

 from a recent survey 80% of women reported that they prefer to be chased. If you are lucky, that means 20% prefers to chase.
So, my answer would be that girls don't feel much about shy guys, because they are not aware they are out there. trust me, being shy or even just not aggresive is NOT a way to get the girls.

 how do you feel about shy girls.I wonder girls will agree with me on this. shy guys are generally insecure lack confidence/self esteem there rarely likely to ask a girl out or even approach one. i could go on and on.If your a shy guy do yourself a favor walk up to the prettiest girl youve ever seen and ask her for her number, if youve been rejected by the best who cares about the rest. now that youve blown it with a perfect 10 go start talking to some twos get some practice and work your way up the rungs by the time you get to the 5s you should have a gf, You get more bees with honey so its easier to get a six or seven with a fve on your arm.but hey you could be actually quite charming and the ten will give you her number
