I started feeling pregnant and took a test just to ease my mind.It was postitive!!! I took another one the next morning and it was positive too. The digital one said not pregnant.3 days later I've started my period. How did this happen?

reader, anonymous, writes (25 April 2009): Have you seen a doctor to clear up whether you really are pregnant or not? I would recommend doing that, because I've heard of people having periods even during pregnancy. Your ambiguous test results call for some professional advice, I think.
As for the pregnancy tests, they're usually pretty accurate, but they rely on hormone concentrations that theoretically aren't exclusive to pregnancy. Like I said, talk to a doctor to be absolutely sure of what's going on.
