it is natural instinct to notice a blonde because of the lighter colour. you will always notice a blonde first because the light colour stands out more.

but maybe blonde just suits you and looks better. i know when i dyed my hair brown a couple of years ago i got a lot less attention than i do as a blonde. but my friend dyed her hair blonde and most people seemed to prefer it brown. it just depends what suits you x

kenny agony auntI think the other posts are spot on, its not the hair colour but how you feel in your self, your confidence supercedes everything.

penta agony aunteyeswideopen and Danielepew have it exactly right. Confidence is sexy, and the new look probably makes you feel more confident.

I'm a blonde and I once died my (then long) hair jet-black for Halloween. I got asked out on three dates that day. It's the difference in you, not the color that's important.

eyeswideopen agony auntYou probably feel really good about how you look as a blonde and it shows by your behavior. You probably feel more confident and outgoing. Men pick up on that stuff.

I also change my hair colour quite alot - and find that as a blonde I get more comments from men in cars driving by, but not in a pub or club. I think this is because blonde hair is brighter and therefore more noticeable from a distance. Having said that, if you never got any comments from men when you were dark haired, it is probably that blonde hair quite simply suits your colouring alot better. Perhaps it shows your eyes off more or highlights your bone structure better. I don't think it is simply your hair colour, but rather whether it enhances your overall look.

Danielepew agony auntBecause you look different. But, if you were not beautiful as a brunette, dyeing your hair would be no good at all. So, the beautiful part of it is YOU. The dye is not that important.
