Also.. the best thing is called coochy. I know it sounds silly, but Pure Romance sells it. I swear by it. This product is what made me want to sell Pure Romance. It's like a shave lotion. It prevents you from getting razor bumps. After you shave you always want to apply a lotion or cream. He might not want to use it...but bikini zone gel works great! Check out coochy @ www.pureromance.com.

Wish you the best of luck!

A female reader, skye United Kingdom +, writes (9 August 2007):

skye agony auntThese little bumps are blocked hair folicles. They can be very itchy too. They tend to happen when the shave was too close or the blade was old and the top of the hair foilcle gets a little nick from the blade. As the hair regrows, it cannot push its way out properly as the opening has altered in shape so it bends back down into the folicle thus causing the bumps.

Your guy should wait until the hair regrows for a while to ensure all hairs have "popped" through their folicles. Exfoliate the area to get rid of any build up of dead skin cells that could lead to clogging. Then using a new blade, shave the area using a good shaveing foam or gel and follow with a through rinse and a coating of antiseptic cream to pervent any infection.

I hope this helps,

Best wishes,

Skye

mz2jlpmghrs agony auntWell, I don't pose naked, but I usally do shave all my hair daown there. Using regular shaving cream, I got bumps. Then, at a drugstore I saw some shaving gel that helps prevent that bumps. It really works! It didn't say for boys or girls so I guess it wouldn't hurt for him to try it. It's at CVS.
