reader, anonymous, writes (8 January 2010): Are you sure you are suffering from depression? Best thing to do is go to a doctor and discuss the problems you're having. Moving to a new place is a big thing and it takes time to make new friends and become part of a social circle. Having a bf isn't everything, you need to concentrate on building new friendships, and that's hard if you're feeling isolated and miserable because other people pick up on it and it repels them. Could you get one of your friends from your old place to visit and maybe go out so you can meet people? Good luck. :)
