 Just because you're not a virgin doesn't mean it doesn't shock you or make you jump when someone randomly touches your intimate place! If a virgin was horny and desperate to lose it, they may be very welcoming. What your friend said is nonsense I'm afraid.

 I imagine she's relying on his honesty about the matter, considering she obviously wants to be in a very stable and loving relationship at the time (in which the man should be comfortable to be open enough with her about whether he is, or is not, a virgin).
Theres no medical test or anything shes planning to carry out; she just wants honesty.

You can't really tell. If he has some kind of sti, chances are he isn'ta virgin (although still not a guarantee as some stis you can catch from dirty surgical equipment in an operation.)
If he's not very old, not great in bed, and doesn't last long, chances are he is a virgin.
But that's it really, no way to guarantee.

Unlike the female body (where the hymen breaks during intercourse), the male body doesn't change during sex.

There is no physical way to tell if a guy is a virgin, she would have to go on his word.If your girlfriend has this narrow of a view of marriage, then I think she is a little too traditional for the real world...and for a real relationship, but that's your call.
