I've known her from the day she was born and we have always got on like brother and and sister and best friends. However the problem is she is only 14 going on 15, I know its not that much of and age gap but still.I really need to tell her but im not sure how esp without scaring her away or upsetting her.Any advice on how to tell her, what to say etc. would be much appreciated cheers.

Just tell her your honest feelings. If your friendship is as strong as you say it is, telling her won't make a difference as friends. She might like you the way you like her too. Only one way to find out.

Just be honest and tell her exactly what you're feeling. If she's as good a friend as you say, she won't be put off by what you have to say to her. You owe it to yourself to find out how she feels back and put your worries to rest. You don't want to have to sit and wonder forever. Go for it! Good luck and take care!
