How can I tell him tactfully that I don't fancy him?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay there is this guy at my school... my friend was talking to him and he said that he liked me. The only problem is he is a freak... he's really weird and he's known to "stalk" the other girls that he's liked. He's never had a girlfriend (for obvious reasons), and I'm getting really pissed off because he ALWAYS texts me or messages me over Facebook. It's getting to the point where it's almost every day, and I've just been ignoring it hoping that he will get the hint and leave me alone. But no, he still continues to do it and its driving me crazy!! I've already blocked him on MSN, but I don't know what else to do!! Please help me!

you need to stop him now or this could get WAY out of control. i'm 14 and this happened to one of my friends and she almost ended up getting raped. just be real nice and polite and say something simple like "no offence, but would you mind leaving me alone please". i don't know what the school support teams are like over in the US but if it carries on, report him. it ain't worth the risk.
