writes: How do you tell someone that you can't be friends with them anymore?A guy friend and me ended up sleeping together a few months back. It was a big mistake and he has a girlfriend that he's been with for about a year or so.Ever since it happened i can't get it out of my head and am totally lost. I thought maybe we could just pretend it didn't happen and forget about it.The thing is, since that one time, he's been hinting that he wants to do it again. I can't and i won't. I know that we can't be friends anymore but i just don't know how to tell him.I wish there was another way but i don't think there is. We mostly talk online because he lives a couple of hours away. He came to visit friends and that's when it happened.I know telling him online might sound a bit cold but i probably won't see him in person for at least a couple of months and i can't leave it that long because i will go crazy if i don't do it soon. How can i tell him i can't do this anymore? What shall i say?

You just need to say exactly what you did in the post, that's it's too emotionally draining for you to be involved with him and you don't want it however you also feel like your friendship is ruined now and that it would probably be best unless he leaves his GF or whatever if you didn't see him anymore.
There is nothing wrong with telling him online
