Question - (15 October 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 October 2007)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay well me and this guy (going on 16) im 15, have been best friends for so long, he is the closest person to me and i love him to bits.

the problem is i feel he keeps hugging me, kissing me (on the cheek), putting his arm round me etc. more than usual. and im starting to think there is something there.

i dont want to ask him if he likes me as something more, as it will become akward between us, but i really want to know.

i still only see him as a friend, as i feel our friendship is to close and i would hate to ruin it.

but i really dont know what to do, i want to find out whether he does fancy me, if so then i wouldnt be able to turn him down, hes my best friend, but i dont feel the same.

please help. x

Hugging and kissing means he thinks you are special to him. It's OK to tell him you let him do this only because he is special to you. Just don't let him go too far.
