reader, anonymous, writes (31 March 2010): I get the feeling that the "stupid things" probably don't seem so stupid to him. Just because you don't think something is important that doesn't mean he has to agree with you. He is a separate person with his own set of feelings & emotions & opinions.

Only time will let him trust you again, theres nothing really you can do to make this happen quickly. Dont give him any more reasons to doubt you, although right now he will be doing a lot of thinking.
If you both truly love each other then give it time, it will work out in the end.
