Greasy foods are fine - a common misconception - in moderation just like healthy foods. Spots are a form of waste from the stomach - sebum (google it). Hence if your stomach is not processing a balanced amount of nutrients, some are over-compensated leading to spots.
Personally an averagely balanced diet works well (Chips, fruit and what suits)
I also find, after brushing teeth, eating a small pea sized blob of toothpaste [alkiline] cancels out any excess chemicals [acid] from your stomach.

Clinique facial wash is really good and exfoliate once a week. DON't put toothpaste on a spot as the toothpaste contains alkali which reacts with your skin making it much worse! Hope this works for you as well as it has worked for me1

Use Clearasil Face wash and night cream.
I had a REALLY bad complexion then I used this treatment for a month or two and my face is clear, I get the odd spot now like teenagers will do.
I am 16 now so I suppose I'm past the worst.
Don't worry it gets better as you grow up,
I went through my 12-15 years really horrible skined.
Your lucky or unlucky with this sorta thang, but now all the pretty clear skjinned girls are geting volcano faces now they are 16 + so yeah, Im glad I had them younger rather than now :)

Hey,
I have the exact same problem.
Here are my suggestions.
-Change your diet so you eat healthier, cutting down fatty fast foods.
-drink plenty of water.
-Use "clean and clear" its really good and gets rid of spots in about 3 day, using it twice a day.
-Get an average of abour 8 hours of sleep a night.
-Try not to get stressed, although i know its hard.
-wash your face with warm soapy water twice aday.
I hope they help, feel free to message me if you have any more problems :D

I used to have a lot of spots a couple of years ago (not so much now) and I had an uncontrollable urge to pop them... Which apparantly isn't good for them, lol. My favourite method for getting rid of spots is popping them, then letting them heal. Which seems to work fo me, but I do have a couple of little scars from doing that...
But anyway, my mum and I both discovered 2 things that you can put on spots that dries them up pretty well: toothpaste... and spit (altho maybe not at the same time) lol. yeah, i know it sounds gross, but it actually works quite well most of the time :P
If you pop a spot but do a bit of a messy job, and it bleeds, put some spit on it and it adds a kind of protective layer which will help it heal up real nice within a couple of days without leaving too much of a scar.

There is no sure fire way of stopping them but to reduce them you need to keep your skin clean use an antibactiral face wash. dont over clean tho as you can end up dammaging your skin in other ways it is possible to be to clean.
also dont eat to much sugar and sweets and keep fatty foods to a minimum.
if you do get them really bad then visit your GP who can give powerful you cream to help but as it cotains sterroids the acne has to be very bad before they precribe it.
